We rescue dogs, cats, horses and a myriad of farm animals. 

Our hearts go out to senior, disabled, and blind animals; we are honored to bring them into our rescue and provide them with health, safety and love.

We go to hurricane affected areas every year to help clear the shelters and bring dogs and cats back to our rescue ranch to make them ready for adoption.

We are very grateful to all our wonderful adopters… our “Pet Place Family”.

Also, we support the community by providing therapeutic riding lessons. The healing power of horses is incredible.

We are currently building additional indoor-outdoor whelping rooms with air conditioning/heat and yards for pregnant stray momma dogs.

We love all our rescues and treat them as if they are our own until they are ready to go to their forever family. However, there’s no limit on how long an animal can stay with us.

We save them from euthanasia and off the streets, and we provide veterinarian and/or farrier care. Our rescues always receive their vaccines and are spayed and neutered before going to their new home.

We treat our rescues medically, physically, and psychologically. We have dog walkers and kitty cuddlers who volunteer their time to help us care for them and make them feel safe and loved…sometimes for the first time.

We put weight on emaciated strays dogs, cats, and we rescue horses from kill pens/slaughter. We transform them from starving lame horses to gorgeous beauties, and then find fantastic forever homes for them.

Some of our horses are part of our therapeutic riding program. We help veterans dealing with PTSD, and anyone who benefits from the healing power of a horse. Our horses love being part of this program and seem to know they’re part of something really important.

We have been a non-profit animal rescue for 15 years and we love what we do. We are truly grateful – it’s a privilege.

However, it is very expensive to run a thriving rescue. We do all our grant writing in-house and we’re eternally grateful for the support and grants we receive.

In this time of covid recovery, we find ourselves in the middle of an animal crisis; the shelters are full and grants are wavering.

Growing and eating microgreens is a personal health journey, but the benefits are three-fold: Momentum Microgreens gets to help the public by providing super healthy greens, which is ultimately transformative. Also, it’s a path to help us sustain and grow our rescue. We always endeavor to do more; there’s always an animal rescue need.

Most vegetables in stores are dead food with no nutritional value. We NEED to eat more greens – healthy greens. There really is nothing better than microgreens for your health.
